Consider revving up your metabolism as a way to lose pounds. There are definite fat burning tricks that you can use to achieve your long-term goals. Look at the following suggestions as a way to live for the rest of your life.
Enjoy a controlled calorie breakfast that contains protein, fat and carbohydrates. Eating breakfast will turn on your fat burning capabilities by switching on your metabolism. Skipping breakfast will cause you to lose muscle. When you lose muscle first, you lose fat burning capability.
Drink cold water throughout the day. Your metabolism will speed up to warm the beverage, thus burning calories.
Have a light snack rich in fiber and low in fat a few hours later. You’ll feel fuller on fewer calories, have energy, and keep your fat burning apparatus working.
Exercise is an important fat burner. You can do moderate exercise even while you are watching TV. Grab a light weight (use canned foods, or milk jugs from your kitchen) and at commercial time do some biceps curls. Start slowly. What’s most important is consistency. Please try to get moving. It not only burns calories but burns fat too.
Stress causes the hormone cortisol to flow, and your body to store fat. Try to stay calm in traffic, with family and in work situations. Remember to breathe deeply, or hum. Thinking pleasant thoughts will calm you down.
Make your meals healthy and balanced. Make it a challenge to seek out quality food. Eat foods proven to burn fat.

Great tips here. All of these would help. Some finer fat loss tips include vinegar, green tea, omegas 3 and oats/barley. Drinking plenty of water does help the metabolism. I am not sure how much cold water helps though since this has not been scientifically proven. Great weight loss info for anyone looking for sound weight loss information.

Water is important these days as it is hot. At the very least, water is a healthy alternative to other items.
I have been blogging tonight and just finished a good portion of the bag of twizzlers my wife bought.
Had I had a glass of water here instead, I’d have been better off.

I think water has been making me bloated. This is absurd really that I feel I am bigger when I consume more water. Thanks for the clarification on this matter.
Some of the calories in the foods you eat are burned off just to digest, so the the net amount of calories is actually less than the amount contained in the food.
