I have a love – hate relationship with Cinnabon’s Classic Cinnamon Rolls. I love them because they taste so good, but I hate them because every time I go to the mall they test my willpower. I don’t know what’s in that icing, but I would not be surprised if it were cocaine because that “stuff” is addicting.

This week I decided to cheat on my diet with a Cinnabon. I drove to the mall just to get a Classic Cinnamon Roll. I was focused, man. I walked up to the counter, smiling like a kid on Christmas. “One Classic Cinnamon Roll please, extra gooey”. I then went to the food court to be alone with my “true love”. I cut it in half and slowly ate one of the halves. I enjoyed each bite. Then I reluctantly threw the other half away.

The Damage

How much damage did I do? According to ABC News, half of a Cinnabon is:

  • Calories: 406.5
  • Fat: 16 grams
  • Saturated Fats: 4 grams
  • Carbs: 58.5 grams
  • Protein: 7.5 grams

Well, that was my weekly cheat and I enjoyed every minute of it. Someone really needs to create a low-fat, low-carb, Cinnabon. Someone at M.I.T. is probably working on it right now. Hurry up!!!!!
